In early October, we did a session of Christina and Daniel who is getting married next May in a Samoan/Polynesian wedding in Killeen.   Here are a few highlights from the session:

Jennifer and Sameer are doctors currently in Dallas.  Jennifer was a bridesmaid at Ruchi and Ankit’s Wedding and Sameer was one of the MC’s.    They came down to Austin for their engagement photos in early October and wanted a session with both casual and wearing a traditional Sari dress.  Went to Ladybird’s lake for the photos and got some nice natural light.

They will get married next March  at Las Colinas Omni in Dallas next year – looking forward to it!

Janki and Omar have asked me to hold off on showing their engagement session until the day of their wedding as a surprise for their guests.   Yes, I know I will be making some of my Aggies brides and clients mad by posting a mixed-engagement couple (mixed, as in UT + Aggies), especially when you see a Hook ‘Em sign in Kyle Field…. but they’re so sweet, it was hard for me to hold off their photos for over a month and half now.

We also photographed a part of their engagement session with 35mm film.

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Munira and Prashant’s engagement session in downtown Austin.  What was a cloudy day ended up in some of the best light in the spring!

We did our downtown route and then ended up at the backyard of the Four Seasons.

Shoma and Frank will get married on April 2nd, 2011.  However, if you read our blog earlier, you’ll notice that they did a Hindu/Indian wedding ceremony in February – so this blog post is somewhat out of regular order

For their session, we decided on just heading out to the Four Seasons in downtown Austin on a late Saturday afternoon last weekend.   It is really nice when the groom is involved with the images – and I already knew from the ceremony that it would be a really fun engagement session!!

One of the fun things about the Four Seasons in Austin is that in addition to the hotel facilities, you have a nice outdoor area perfect for photos on the wedding day or engagement photos.

Reception;  Marriott Hotel in Round Rock, Texas

Debbie and Sirish got married in Canada a couple months ago and decided to host an evening celebration for their friends in Austin.  Debbie is a doctor who works in Round Rock and Sirish moved from Canada to be with her.    We also did an engagement session – but due to the international travel, we weren’t able to do it until after they got married    So maybe we can call it a post-wedding session?

Amira wanted to do an engagement session at their new house and then to a nearby park and wanted it to be as natural as possible.
