Why does it rain so much in central Texas in October this year?

Jennifer and Les and their daughter Amary met with me last November for their wedding in this November 🙂  She went to a wedding I did 2 years ago and saw the images and wanted me as their photographer – it’s a great honor when someone saw you work and the resulting images and based their decision on it.

We met on a almost-rainy Monday afternoon a couple of weeks ago in the town of Georgetown, TX.  I have lived and spent a better part of my teenage years in Lawrence, KS (and then went to school there at the University of Kansas) and Georgetown reminds me so much of that place.

Probably my favorite image of the whole session.  I always love how the photos from 1910’s/20’s/30’s look, especially portraits.

I also did Jennifer’s bridal last Sunday with some seriously nice light – FINALLY a day without rain!  Can’t wait to share it, AFTER their wedding.

They’ll get married next month – can’t wait!
