How did Jessica and Jon meet? Their story about how they have met, twice 
“Jessica and Jon met each other and dated in high school (year 2000). Jon then went into the Army and they lost contact for over 4 years – But, by February of 2004, Jessica and Jon were reunited again and have been together ever since.”
Jessica and her mom, Terri, met me in Austin back in January of this year and it was one of those meetings where you instantaneously know it’s a great fit. We did their engagement session in the summer (it was a hot and fun session!) and her bridal about 2 weeks before the wedding.
Winfield Inn is located in the offbeaten path of Kyle, TX. It is a great place to have an outdoor wedding – it has probably the most majestic trees I have ever seen in a wedding venue in Texas, an incredible getting ready room and a nice open reception venue. Michael Hooks, a local Austin wedding photographer as well, came to help me out for this wedding.

Love the red!
When I entered the room, i thought the room has a “vintage” feel to it and with the darker tones of red, it just works for images like this.
Sometimes, when you stay with it, you get good moments such as when David rubs his eye (tears) while Jessica looks at her dad.
Those trees are huge, aren’t they? love them.
I asked for a small dip but man, this is great

After the wedding, the couple whisks off to Santorini, Greece – it was one of the spots that Jessica always wanted to visit and Jon made it happen!
