What a beautiful day to get married!

When I met Karen and Alex in Dallas in 2009 over a year and a half ago, I knew from their personalities that the wedding is going to be a wild one!

Date: April 1st, 2011 (April Fools!)

Ceremony and Reception: Trois Estate at Enchanted Rock, Fredericksburg, Texas

Trois Estate at Enchanted Rock is one of the most interesting venues that I have worked at. It is actually difficult to explain unless you have been to the venue. Out in the middle of the Texas hill country on the way to Enchanted Rock, all the sudden you see these adobe buildings that almost makes you feel like you are in Santa Fe, N.M., instead of Texas.

When I asked Karen how she met Alex, she replied:

A mutual friend (Kelly) tried to talk me into meeting Alex, but I’d have none of it- I was 30 & he was only 24. Besides that, I had my eye on a guy I saw every Tues & Thurs in the math lab at my community college. I didn’t know this guy’s name, so I referred to him as “Math Lab Guy.”

Then one day Kelly decided to introduce me to Alex (on a required Geology field trip in the TX hill country). As luck would have it, Alex turned out to be Math Lab Guy. It was meant to be 🙂

It was most definitely meant to be! 🙂
