Wendy and John, MBA + M.D.

What a rare opportunity and privilege it is to be able to document an incredible wedding and to do an hour and half long portrait session of the bride and groom in downtown Austin!

Wendy was a MBA colleague of Hazel’s at the University of Texas, graduating in the same class of 2008.  We met last year in May for their wedding planning, etc. in the Texas State History Museum.  John was a medical student in San Antonio at the time so they planned on getting married next year in May near the time of his graduation.

The day was a bit rainy so we spent some time in numerous indoor locations in downtown Austin:

I’m still chuckling from this story about the birds and the bees (from the toast by John’s dad Kenny who is also his best man)…

Crazy and fun reception – not a surprise since they’re MBA’s and MD’s!   Music provided by the band, Dysfunshun Junkshun.
