We received notification last week from the Wedding Photojournalist Association last week about Tony being selected as one of the Top 20 photographers in the world for 2008! Here is the link to the ranking:

While I was previous ranked as the #1 photographer for the first quarter of 2008, it’s still difficult to be in the top 20 spot due to the amount of talent in the organization – some of the biggest names in wedding photographers is on the top 20 list. Wow! And I’m happy that there are THREE TEXAS photographers and I was one of them on the top 20 list!!!
I can’t thank our clients enough for their trust in me on photographing and documenting one of their biggest and most important days of their lives! It really is a tremendous honor to be able to share in your day. Without their trust and allowing me to be in their personal space, images that won the ranking would not have been possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you……!!!!!!!!!!!
Pressure is on!! – as one of my clients to be married in 2009 says in a private email 🙂 For me, the pressure is always on to provide some unique, interesting, funny, silly, romantic, humorous, quirky wedding images, each and every wedding – but yea, this does add to the pressure even more. 😮
